Joins ON¶

List multiple tables separated by commas, give them aliases with as, and state the join condition. DQL infers an inner join.

Outer Joins¶

Append the table name with ? to mark it as optional -- this produces a LEFT JOIN. Rows from the non-optional side are kept even when there is no match.

Notice that users with no orders now appear with NULL values for the order columns.
